Joint Vision brings orthopaedic and medical specialists, allied health, imaging, nursing, research, clinical support and the Patient Services team together. The people involved depend on the condition, referral status and stage of care.
ORTHOPAEDIC AND MEDICAL SPECIALISTS
Our orthopaedic and medical specialists provide diagnosis, treatment planning, procedures and surgery where subspecialty or medical expertise is required. Their work connects with allied health, imaging, nursing and rehabilitation around the patient.
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Foot and ankle, including minimally invasive bunion correction, forefoot conditions, sporting injuries and ankle instability.
Dr Meghan Dares is a foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon with a particular focus on minimally invasive bunion correction, forefoot conditions, sporting injuries and ankle instability. She works with imaging, podiatry, physiotherapy and rehabilitation where these services add value to the patient pathway.
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Foot and ankle, trauma and reconstruction.
Dr Sheraz Anjum is a foot and ankle, trauma and limb reconstruction surgeon with expertise in ankle replacement, arthritic conditions, complex deformity and orthopaedic trauma. His care is connected with imaging, rehabilitation and the wider Joint Vision team.

Hip and knee conditions, joint replacement, sports injury and fractures.
Dr Anil Goudar is a lower-limb orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions, joint replacement, sports injury, fractures and selected bone and soft-tissue conditions. He works with physiotherapy, exercise physiology, imaging and nursing across treatment and recovery.
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand care.
Dr Jasan Dannaway is an upper-limb orthopaedic surgeon caring for shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand conditions, including tendon and ligament injury, arthritis, nerve compression and fractures. His pathway connects specialist assessment with imaging and upper-limb rehabilitation.
Interventional Pain and Rehabilitation Medicine Physician
Persistent spine, joint and musculoskeletal pain.
Dr David Manohar is a dual-fellowed pain and rehabilitation medicine physician providing specialist assessment and management for persistent and complex pain presentations. He works within a multidisciplinary model focused on function and practical treatment planning.
Perioperative Physician and Geriatrician
Older adult and perioperative care.
Dr Sheila Rahman is a specialist physician supporting older adults through surgical decision-making, preparation, inpatient care and recovery. Her work includes the medical, functional and practical factors that can influence treatment and rehabilitation.
ALLIED HEALTH
Patients may begin directly with physiotherapy, podiatry, exercise physiology, osteopathy or dietetics. Rebecca Kay is included here as Lead Allied Health Assistant because her role is embedded within treatment preparation, hands-on support and rehabilitation.

Kat is a physiotherapist with more than 15 years of experience across the United Kingdom, Singapore and Australia. She focuses on helping people achieve long-term outcomes through practical rehabilitation strategies they can understand and sustain.
Allied Health Team Lead and Senior Physiotherapist
Musculoskeletal, acute injury and post-operative rehabilitation.
Alicia is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a Doctor of Physiotherapy and a background in exercise science. She supports patients from acute injury through rehabilitation and return to sport or everyday activity, including within the on-site injury pathway.
Osteopath
Persistent pain, movement and rehabilitation.
Toby graduated from the British School of Osteopathy and later joined its teaching faculty. He has a particular interest in chronic and persistent pain, rehabilitation, research and education.
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Post-operative rehabilitation, chronic disease and falls prevention.
Caitlin completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Master of Exercise Physiology at the University of Wollongong. Her clinical work includes education, individual exercise strategies, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic disease management and falls prevention.
Podiatrist
Foot and ankle podiatry, biomechanics and orthotic care.
Steffan works within Joint Vision’s integrated foot and ankle pathway, supporting patients through podiatric assessment, biomechanical care, orthotic management and rehabilitation planning.
Senior Physiotherapist
Lumbar and pelvic conditions, foot and ankle, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Matthew is a physiotherapist supporting musculoskeletal assessment, treatment and recovery within the Joint Vision allied health team. He works with patients across non-operative and post-treatment rehabilitation pathways.
Accredited Practising Dietitian
Nutrition for recovery and long-term health.
Sally is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with more than 30 years of clinical experience across hospital, private-practice, bariatric and university settings. She brings a supportive, patient-centred approach to nutrition, recovery and long-term health.
Podiatrist
Active people, runners and return to activity.
Thomas holds qualifications in sport science, exercise and health and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. He has a broad interest in podiatry and a particular passion for helping runners and active people return to the activities they enjoy.
Lead Allied Health Assistant
Hands-on clinical assistance and coordinated patient support.
With more than 20 years of experience in podiatry-related roles, Rebecca supports patients with treatment preparation, exercise programs, rehabilitation therapies and recovery. She also assists allied health clinicians and surgeons to keep the patient pathway coordinated and seamless.

Diane is an experienced academic and research scientist with more than 25 years across medicine, health and exercise science. Her clinical and translational research experience includes project management, research collaboration, teaching and supervision across university and healthcare settings.
IMAGING
Joint Vision provides on-site X-ray and ultrasound within the same connected musculoskeletal service. The imaging team helps answer the clinical question and supports timely treatment planning without separating investigations from the wider care pathway.

Brenda is an experienced radiographer who brings a calm, patient-first approach to on-site X-ray. She supports patients with clear communication and helps connect diagnostic images with the wider clinical question and care pathway.
MSK Sonographer
Musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound.
Mikayla has qualifications in medical and health sciences, vascular ultrasound and medical ultrasound. She has experience in vascular and musculoskeletal sonography and a strong interest in connecting ultrasound findings to the patient’s clinical question.

Diagnostic ultrasound.
Shilpa is an MSK sonographer supporting Joint Vision imaging and investigations, helping patients and clinicians access diagnostic ultrasound within the wider musculoskeletal pathway.

Megha is an ASAR-accredited medical sonographer with more than eight years of private-practice experience. Her expertise includes general, vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound, supported by postgraduate and master’s-level training in medical sonography.

Ashleigh completed a Bachelor of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Wollongong, followed by a Graduate Diploma of Medical Ultrasonography specialising in vascular ultrasound. She spent nine years in vascular ultrasound before completing further qualifications in musculoskeletal ultrasound.

The Patient Services team supports appointment coordination, referrals, communication, funding questions and finding the right next step. If the correct pathway is unclear, they can help patients and referrers decide where to begin.
