About Joint Vision
Musculoskeletal care made easier to navigate.
Founded in Wollongong in 2020, Joint Vision has grown from specialist foot and ankle care into a multidisciplinary organisation bringing orthopaedic surgery, medical specialists, allied health, imaging, nursing, rehabilitation and research together in one place.
Our story
From one specialist pathway to a connected musculoskeletal organisation.

Dr Meghan Dares and Dr Sheraz Anjum, the foot and ankle surgeons whose subspecialty pathway the group was built around.
Joint Vision was founded in Wollongong in 2020 by orthopaedic surgeon Dr Meghan Dares and Wynter Dares with a clear aim: make musculoskeletal care easier to navigate.
What began with specialist foot and ankle care has grown into a wider team spanning orthopaedic and medical specialists, allied health, on-site imaging, nursing, rehabilitation, research and Patient Services. The organisation has grown by building defined clinical pathways while keeping the relevant people connected around each patient's needs.
Your care
Begin with the clinician or pathway that fits the problem, goals, referral status and urgency.
One team
Relevant specialists, allied health, imaging, nursing and rehabilitation can work from the same clinical direction.
One place
Clinical assessment, on-site investigations and connected recovery services are brought together in Wollongong.
One evolving plan
The team can add or change expertise as the diagnosis, decision or stage of recovery develops.
The Joint Vision model
The value is how the pieces work together.
Joint Vision is not simply a collection of services at one address. The model is designed so the relevant clinicians can connect assessment, imaging, treatment and recovery without making the patient repeatedly start again.
Subspecialist expertise
Orthopaedic and medical specialists provide focused diagnosis, treatment decisions, procedures and surgery when the clinical question requires it.
Allied health expertise
Physiotherapy, podiatry, exercise physiology, osteopathy and dietetics can assess and treat directly within their disciplines.
Imaging and investigations
On-site X-ray and musculoskeletal ultrasound may support timely answers where they are clinically useful.
Nursing and rehabilitation
Preparation, follow-up and progressive recovery can remain connected to the treatment plan.
Built around patient questions
Every pathway should make the next step easier.
Patients should understand whether they are in the right place, who may help, what could happen next and how to book. GPs should be able to identify the relevant clinician and referral route without unnecessary delay.
