Joint Vision Named Finalist in Three Categories at Illawarra Business Awards
Joint Vision Orthopaedic Group will again represent the Illawarra's business community after being named a finalist in all three categories it entered in the 2026 IMB Bank Illawarra Business Awards.
The Wollongong-based practice has been recognised as a finalist for Employer of Choice (21 Employees and Over), Excellence in Innovation, and Excellence in Medium Business, continuing the organisation's award-winning momentum following its success as a finalist in the NSW Business Awards last year.
Joint Vision CEO Wynter Dares said the recognition was particularly meaningful because it reflected the organisation's long-term commitment to continually improving patient care and the way healthcare is delivered.
"We're incredibly proud to be recognised as finalists in every category we entered," Mr Dares said.
"These awards recognise organisations that are constantly striving to improve, whether that's through innovation, delivering exceptional patient care or building businesses that make a genuine contribution to their communities."
"We've never stood still as an organisation. Every year we've challenged ourselves to find better ways to support our patients and the healthcare professionals who refer to us. To be recognised again after reaching the NSW Business Awards last year gives us confidence we're continuing to move in the right direction."

Joint Vision has again been recognised for business excellence, earning finalist status in three categories at the 2026 IMB Bank Illawarra Business Awards.
Established with a vision of transforming the orthopaedic patient experience, Joint Vision has grown into one of New South Wales' largest multidisciplinary musculoskeletal healthcare providers, bringing together specialist surgeons, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, podiatrists, dietitians, geriatricians and pain specialists under one roof.
Its integrated model enables patients to access coordinated care from diagnosis through to rehabilitation while providing referring practitioners with streamlined access to specialist expertise.
Over the past 12 months, the organisation has continued expanding its integrated model of care while investing in research, preventive health initiatives, digital innovation and community education programs designed to improve musculoskeletal health across the Illawarra.
Orthopaedic surgeon and Joint Vision co-founder Dr Meghan Dares said the finalist recognition reflected the organisation's commitment to continually improving patient outcomes.
"Innovation in healthcare should never be innovation for its own sake," Dr Dares said.
"It's about constantly asking how we can make the patient experience better, improve outcomes and make high-quality care more accessible. Whether that's introducing new treatment approaches, investing in research, or bringing different healthcare professionals together to work collaboratively, our focus is always on delivering the best possible care."
"We're incredibly grateful to our patients for placing their trust in us, and to the GPs, specialists and healthcare professionals across the Illawarra who continue to work alongside us. This recognition reflects those partnerships just as much as it reflects the dedication of our own team."
Mr Dares said being recognised at both state and regional level over consecutive years reinforced that Joint Vision's long-term vision was continuing to deliver results.
"To receive recognition at both state and regional level over consecutive years is something we're incredibly proud of," he said.
"We're honoured to stand alongside so many outstanding businesses from across our region and congratulate every finalist. The strength of the Illawarra business community is something we should all be proud of, and we look forward to celebrating everyone's achievements at the gala awards night."
The winners of the 2026 IMB Bank Illawarra Business Awards will be announced at the gala awards night in September.
