This week Joint Vision Orthopaedic Group will proudly represent the Illawarra on the state stage, as a finalist in the Excellence in Large Business category at the NSW Business Awards

For us, this recognition is more than a trophy. It’s a milestone that celebrates the journey we’ve taken since opening our doors in August 2020 — right in the middle of a global pandemic.

Back then, we took a bold step: to bring orthopaedics, imaging and an allied health team of physiotherapists, podiatrists, exercise physiologists and osteopaths together under one roof, so patients could access diagnosis, scans, and treatment in a single visit.

Your Care. One Team. One Place.

That vision has grown into reality.

  • Your Care: A patient-first approach where every treatment plan is personal.

  • One Team: Surgeons, radiographers and allied health working side by side.

  • One Place: An integrated clinic model that means no long waits, no multiple appointments, and no endless referrals.

It’s this model that has enabled us to treat thousands of patients, ease the burden on hospital emergency departments, and create more than 40 jobs across the Illawarra

Community roots, global recognition

We’re proud our work doesn’t stop at the clinic doors. From sponsoring Illawarra events and organisations to supporting public patient access, Joint Vision has become deeply embedded in the Illawarra community.

We’ve also forged research and training partnerships with the University of Wollongong to help shape the next generation of musculoskeletal specialists.

To be recognised in the Excellence in Large Business category is a reflection of our team’s dedication and the trust our community has placed in us.

Whatever happens on Wednesday night, our mission remains the same: to deliver world-class orthopaedic care that is local, accessible, and built around people, not systems.

We’re proud to carry the Illawarra’s story with us into the NSW Business Awards and to continue proving that with vision, collaboration, and courage, regional healthcare can lead the way.
